Sensex rallied 1000 pts from days low, hits 18K

Sensex hits 18000 mark for the first time. It took 8 days to reach the 18K mark from 17K mark. Sensex today also logged the highest intra-day absolute gain ever, rising more than 800 points. Today, the Sensex has rallied more than 1000 points from days low of 17287.
